Plaza Realty & Management Services, Inc. was formed in 1983 as a subsidiary corporation of John Q. Hammons Industries. The company was created to manage the local commercial properties owned by John Q. Hammons as well as assist in the marketing, development, construction and management of exclusive buildings including The Hammons Tower, John Q. Hammons Office Building and the United States Federal Court Building, as well as One Parkway Place, a sixteen-story luxury condominium. Today the management portfolio includes The Hammons Tower, John Q. Hammons Building, the United States Federal Court Building, the Monterey Shopping Center, Enterprise Office/Warehouse and Springfield Mini-Storage totaling over 400,000 square feet.
